Azam Masood, MPH, serves as the Institute’s co-Project Coordinator, helping to support the Florida Oral Health Alliance and Oral Health Consumer Engagement activities. Azam obtained his Master of Public Health with a specialization in Health Policy & Management from Florida International University (FIU). Azam brings strong skills in public speaking, data management and analysis, and stakeholder engagement. While at FIU, he worked with the Florida Department of Health on the Stigma Project to investigate and understand the social, political, and economic climate surrounding HIV/AIDS and other communicable diseases prevalent in Broward County. He has a special interest in health policy and working with community coalitions.
