The loss of an infant is devastating. October 15, 1988, President Ronald Regan declared October Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month enable us the opportunity to reflect and honor the babies that have died but are forever in our hearts. It is also a time to provide support to those who have suffered this tragic loss and to bring awareness while advocating ways to prevent these losses.
October 15 is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. The International Wave of Life invites baby loss families, friends, loved ones and supporting organizations around the world to join in honor and remembrance of loved babies on October 15 at 7:00p.m. in all time zones to light a candle for an hour.
Please join us in showing support for our families, providers and communities who have experience pregnancy and infant loss.
