Improving the well-being of mothers, infants, and children is an important public health goal. The determinants that influence maternal health also affect pregnancy outcomes and infant health. Significant racial disparities persist in both the rate of women who die due to complications of pregnancy or delivery and the rate of women who experience negative birth outcomes. This forum will raise awareness on the maternal health and pregnancy outcomes in our community and on the many available social and behavioral health services which we encourage our moms and families to use.
