Debra Oliver, RN, serves as the quantitative abstractor for the Palm Beach County (PBC) Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) Program. In this role, Debra gathers pertinent medical records data on families that have experienced a fetal or infant loss and facilitates partnerships to engage healthcare providers and community organizations in the FIMR program. Debra has 30 years of experience as a maternal/infant nurse in PBC, having worked in labor and delivery and neonatal intensive care. Debra has garnered a diverse skillset with positions including Educator, Supervisor, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Nurse Assistant and Patient Advocate. As an expert communicator and teacher, she has successfully supported both patients and healthcare practitioners in improving standards of care and outcomes.
